As I'm sure most of you know, inside of Mean Streak is used for storage of old ride vehicles and parts. I was wondering if it is possible to get in trouble with the park for going into a part of the queue for Mean Streak that isn't being used for the line to get a good look at what is inside the structure, as it has a giant queue area from it's more popular days. I've asked this question in a few other places, though not on this site, and nobody has seemed to understand what I'm trying to ask. They all seem to think I would be physically under the ride, or on the infield of Mean Streak. Hopefully someone can answer my question!
I remember waiting 3 hours for that ride when it first opened. I would have to say that yes you should be able to go through the unused portion of the lines area to take a look. The shrubs are barely even kept up in that area any longer and the queue for that ride is way overbuilt for todays usage. If there are chains blocking access to those areas then that may be a different story since it may look like you are up to something to an employee.
I say go for it. As long as you stay inside the que rails and don't act like an idiot the worst case scenario is someone asks you to leave that area of the que. If you are still worried about it take a camera with you and have the "I was just taking pictures of meanstreak" excuse ready.

I just want to answer you and say Yes it's alright as long as you stay in the queue. I do it all the time to try and get a picture of Mean Streak's First hill drop. I never get the picture I want though because the sun is always shining right on the hill so when I take the shot, I get a glare of the riders from the sun.
