Honestly, some of you just don't know how to ride Meany. Yes, she's rough, but I like her that way.
We got a couple of really good rides over the weekend, even though they trimmed the first drop and on the mid course. The gold train seemed to be running the best.

Thats sad, I mean I never bought my picture there, but I enjoyed looking at my picture after riding, I hope this isn't the start of them removing Mean Streak. I like that ride a lot, even thought it's a little bumpy, it's still has nice dips and turns. In my opinion you have to like a certain amount of bumpiness. There's two options for coasters, a little bumpy and very rough. I think Mean Streak follows under a little bumpy.
After checking, I've learned that Mean Streak Photo will remain, but only open when attendance is high enough to warrant it.

Wow, is this what happens every time a thread mentions Mean Streak?? (I'm kinda new here)
Oh well, my two cents. I think that MS is a great ride, it provides an excitement that only (I think) TTD, MF, and Mantis can give you. It's a feeling of straining the limits of your physical body, and to me it's something that can ONLY be experienced at a place like Cedar Point. Plus, it's still like #5 or something on the list of tallest/fastest wooden coasters, right?

It has nothing to do with "how to ride it". I guess I've gotten really spoiled traveling to other parks and riding GOOD wooden coasters, like Raven, Legend, Timbers, and Cornball to name a few, that are smooth, fast, and give you a good ride the whole way through, but then I come back to CP and ride Mean Streak and get a slow, bumpy, boring ride.
They should have an unload station at the midcourse brakes. The ride is practically over at that point anyways. ;)
