Hey, this is my first post, but ive been looking around the forums for a while. I might be going next week with one of my friends, and i was wondering how Thursdays are with crowds and some tips for the Trip. We plan on taking a cooler with our own food and just leaving it in the car because food can get pretty expensive. And I will be going back in August for my step dads work, and it gets pretty packed, and thats why we're making this trip. I will probably write a TR also. What coasters should we hit first, what seats are the best? Thanks for the help.
If you're gonna hit up the water rides star by magnum and gemini and work youre way into fronteirtown and then back towards the entrance. otherwise just start right in fronteirtown
RIDE MAVERICK and yeah work your way from the back to the front.

Cedar Point = Life. <3
We were there last Thursday and it was PACKED, although it rained for a few days prior to that.

Ride on, MrScott!
As far as good seats, I believe the main ones are: 1-3 for Magnum (3rd row in the first car), 5-1 for Millennium (1st row in the fifth car), and very back row on Maverick (although I have heard that it is more jerkey back there as well). And for Gemini if you sit on the right side of the red train or the left side of the blue train, you can do high fives on some of the turns if they are racing the trains. And if it isn't a very busy day, you can walk on to Iron Dragon and use that ride to check the line length of TTD. I would also recommend hitting MF early in the morning because when we were there that was when it was the least crowded. Enjoy your trip(s)!

I was there on a thursday a few weeks ago and it wasnt packed or dead. our wait for Maverick at around 2pm was an hour at the most. We started at the front of the park and worked our way aroundthe MF then to Frontiertown then the The Gemini Midway and started going around again. Word of advice back row on Maverick is smooth and you get the most air time out of all the seats. Also when you go over the lift hill it feels like your going to fall out of your seat. Maverick is a Beast for such a small coaster. It dont stop.

You absolutely must ride MF at least once from the front row, arms high. You might as well be flying along the tracks at 92 MPH by yourself. Blew my mind the first time I tried it.
That's just MHO, I'm hardly a certified roller-coaster expert. I just like coasters and going fast and stuff like that. I am ver much looking forward to Maverick... tomorrow night or Friday morning at the latest @ Coaster Mania. I can't wait!
Go in the SC entrance and start with Magnum. Then, Go through Frontier Town and Make your way towards the front of the park.
Blue Train on gemini (most of the head chopper affect)
Very Front Seat on Mean Streak
Very Last seat on Wicked Twister
