Well I've ridden MF front in May before. It hurt, like heck, and my face was covered in guts. They don't taste the best, eh?
But I'm wondering if the general ammount of may flies varries from season to season, depending upon what kinda winter they had.
LOL, I remember the first time I went to CP about 6 years ago, there were so many of them sitting on the tile in front of one of the stores that my friend actually slipped on them. People were sliding all over because they had to wade through them to get in the store. They're not so bad though...
Are you sure this isn't the Atlantic Ocean?
GO TIGERS!
When do they usually end? I went last year on Victoria Day (the weekend before Memorial Day) and I didn't see any, or atleast there weren't enough to be noticed.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
They come at the earliest in late May. They end the latest in early July. I love to pick them up by there wings. They move there tail. Its funny. Then you let go and watch them fly.

I hate these things! They make the park look so bad when they are stuck all over everything. I remember one time I went and there were so many of them that there were piles of them laying on the sides of the midways as sweeps used big push brooms to move them out of the way. Several rides were also closed because they were stuck all over the tracks to the point where the rides couldn't safely run. Hopefully they aren't too bad this year.
Cedar Point rocks my socks.
