May crowds

What are the crowds like on the weekends in May? Are they as bad as the summer months or better yet when in may is the best time to go?

May crowds are incredibly light no matter when you go (except opening day, of course), and you'd have no problem getting on all the rides. There will be a lot of school groups, but they leave around 6pm so you'd have a couple extra hours. The thing to remember about May, though, is the weather is the worst then: cold and rainy more days than not, especially being right on the lake. Dress warm! Personally, I'd wait until mid-June, because the crowds still aren't bad but all the stores are pretty much stocked by then and everything is really going well

SOOOOO close! Only 100 votes for a NEW POLL!
May crowds are always incredibly light? The one Saturday that I went in May (about four years ago) all of the major lines were over an hour long, I believe that the Raptor line was at least two hours when I saw it. It wasn't opening day either. Plus the weather was pretty cold. Maybe I was just unlucky.
