May at CP and crowds

On weekdays in May, what days does the park *tend* to be less crowded? Yes, I know that we don't have crystal balls and that the weather has a lot to do with it, but what times in May tend to be less crowded? Early in the month? Late in the month? A specific day of the week? We're trying to plan a trip in May and are hoping to hit a less crowded time.

A bad day at CP is better than a good day at work.
The earlier the better off you are.. Although the park really doesn't hit full swing (and by that I mean all the shows) till June.

I know the Country show at Red Garter starts on Saturday the 12th (practice begins on the 2nd of May and the whole band except the keyboard player from last year are coming back, and the only singer that is returning is Ben. If you saw the show last year, you know Ben was born to sing this show)

The Rock,Pop & Soul show doesn't start till June.

Weekdays in May to answer your question.

GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
Stop the presses...Red Garter Rob you said..at the Country show THE WHOLE BAND except the keyboardist is returning...Does this mean another year of OUTSTANDING FIDDLE PLAYING???Please do tell as if this is the case the Country Show will again be a must see.
Yes.. Todd in-processes in 11 days or so.. I actually just got an email from him and his g/f (Elizabeth, one of the Garter Girls) just yesterday.

He is currently on tour with a Seasame Street group but his contract is over soon. He is also bringing a very cute girl from the SS show to be in the Rock,Pop and Soul show.

With the return of Ben, Todd, Carmen, Drew and the rest of the crew, I may just have to up my tollerance for country music one more notch.

All I can say is YEEEEHA...
ATTENTION>>>>ALL GTTPers....The Country Show is a MUST SEE...stop riding coasters for a minute and see what could possibly be one of the greatest if not the best individual performers CP has ever had. Todd on the fiddle along with the rest of the Country Band makes country music bearable for even non-country fans.
Is it country music, or is it more Bluegrass? I really like Bluegrass especially if they got a kick-ass fiddle and banjo player. I wish my fav. band TOOL would do a bluegrass song sometime, but until then CP must be the place for the Live stuff.

turn your partner 'round and 'round...

I will whole-heartedly agree that the Country Show the last 2 years was totally awesome. Does anyone know if Barb and Ben are coming back too?

What does everyone think the crowds will be like on the Monday the 7th of May? I think I just may make my first trip that day.
