maxx pass question...:/

this may be a stupid question (but i feel even more stupid for waiting until the end of the season to ask!)....but i read somewhere that you could get into the park an hour early with the maxx pass....is this correct?....for instance, i'm going this saturday and the park opens at noon....which means i could enter the park at 11am - but what time does the parking lot open?....

are rides operating at this time?

one more question:)...how do i actually get to the magnum entrance? the first time i went to CP i somehow managed to get back there (not on purpose)....ever since, I've always ended up at the main entrance....

First question, no, you must either be a Joe Cool member, a resort guest or your Maxx Pass must be from another park other than CP.

Second question, stay to the left most toll booth when entering the parking lot. If it's not open and you go to another just make a left at the flashing yellow light and then a right at the flashing red light. Stay on this road until you reach the back of the park.

Would it really be cost effective to buy a season pass with Joe Cool this late in the season just for early entry? Stay at Breakers Express and get early entry that way.

No Tim, I think he already has a CP Maxx Pass without JC.

You can always add JC for $15 if you really wanted that extra hour.

The far left toll booth is always open. Its the only one that never closes.

thanks for your help....no i'm not going to worry about puchasing it now....yes, i already have a maxx pass from CP...i was just pointing out, to the average consumer, that makes no sense.....i understand that they want you to purchase the Joe Cool perks....but why does a KI maxx pass get early entry?

It's just a non-advertised perk for sister park passes.

Buts that not a big concern anymore considering CF went PLATINUM for next season. And I really cannot wait to travel to some of the other parks.

I'm debating whether or not I should buy my Platinum Pass online now or wait until I go in October to buy it. With the Canadian dollar the way it is, I'm going to have to keep a close watch these next few days. I may get my pass cheaper than you guys!

the last time I looked It was 98.8 US

It's at 0.99614. Seems to be sliding a bit compared to Saturday when it was at 0.99910.
