Maximum height requirements?

Is there a possibility that Dragster will have a requirement that you must be under a certain height to ride? Also, do you think there will be a weight limit for dragster?
There has to be a max height limit so people's heads don't snap back on the launch. I'm not sure about weight limit, but there might be one.

MF Rides: 23
WT Rides: 5
Magnum Rides: Over 100
Dragster Rides: Hopefully a Lot...

They should just make the headrests adjustable so that they don't have to worry about the height of the riders.
LOL! adjustable headrest..

They need to be solidly attached, just like the seats are. Also, they need to be able to handle a lot of abuse over each summer.

More than likely, there will be a maximum recommended weight limit for it, and possibly a maximum recomended height limit. There is one thing for sure, if you neck is above the headrest [or whatever they decide is the limit] you won't be rideing. I think that it can handle pretty tall people, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I hope that they use the same headrests as on Xcelerator, because the ones in the train picture seem a little smaller. If they really are smaller, than it will just mean less people will be able to ride it.

Chocolate is chocolate, but liquor is quicker.

I think what he meant was to have the headrest be able to move up and down, like the seat is able to do on Mantis, which actually might not be a bad idea.
Xcelerator has NO height or weight limits. If you fit, you can ride. But I have found that your waist must be about 40" or less to ride (due to the very short seatbelts), and I've never seen or heard of ANYONE being turned away because of height. I'd say the headrests are capable of supporting a 6'6" long body. You have to be like big bird not to fit.

Also, kind of off topic, but the height minimum will probably be 52". The restraints ARE different than Millenium force, they're like Xcelerators, and Xcelerator has the 52" height min. Dragsters airtime (or rather negative Gs, cause they might staple like a mofo) won't be any more extreme than Xcelerators. I mean, Xcelerator is less than half as tall, but its 68% of Dragsters speed.

Speed and height do not scale like that.
I guess that means Manut Bol won't be riding!!

Blue Gemini Always Wins

Without being in the back so that he could put his legs on either side of the set in front of him, I seriously doubt that he could even pull the labpar back. :)

Heres a picture of the Xcelerator train with riders. The kid in the front row left still has about 5" room left, as the top of the headrest needs to touch the bottom of your skull or higher to ride.

those restarints look IDENTICAL to MF's even the silverish color handle bar on the restraint itself.
Hey, that's me! Yeah, I'm around 5' 2" in height. While my friend next to me is around 6' 1" in height. I believe the restraints are the same as any other Intamin roller coaster with the mega coaster trains. There is no set maximum height limit for Xcelerator. If the buttom of your head reaches above the head-seat extension, then you're not allowed to ride.

I've got hope, then, that my 6'4 (and a half) hubby will be able to ride.

Although he's not fat by a long shot, he's trying to lose weight. Last year, he was just a half inch from being able to lock his seatbelt on WT and couldn't ride. He's tall in the torso, which makes riding some coasters impossible.

Shorty* The lap bars are ever so different. Sompare them to Perilous Plunge's.
Speedy - you have, actually, been on Xcelerator, right? Because I've been on MF and Xcelerator, and I can not think of one thing that is different between those restraints. Can you enlighten me with exactly what is different? Thanks.
The Lap Bar On Xcelerator are more curved then Mulliennium Force's restraints.
The bars on Xcelerator are bent, as to not hurt the guys, while MF's are not.

Ah, yes. That does sound familiar now. I don't think it makes THAT big of a difference, though. I don't think I've ever gotten off MF with noticable discomfort in that area.

I've been on it dozens of times. They're different, the support is flexed around the top rather than being straight, and I think the shape is slightly different. Staples are pain free, except for your bladder, which can have severe pain if super stapled.

Millenium force looks painful to the crotch.

Ok, yeah. I see the difference. Not a big difference, but still....they're different
