maXair/webcam/lights

Alright, has anyone else noticed that the webcam will not show any pitures past 7:59? I think they test the new lighting systems and they want to keep it a suprise. anyway, it doen't matter, i'll be there in two weeks.!!

actually, they have cut the picture off at that time every nite for the last several weeks because it's dark and there is nothing to see.

But whatever floats your boat.

With the other webcams, you can bypass the archived picture and see a realtime picture anytime. The Maxair cam is the only one you can't bypass.

And the CIA killed Kennedy, Hoffa's buried in I-696, OJ did it, and Kwame's not crooked.....you got any other good conspiracies?

Don't forget Roswell, Amelia Earheart, Lincoln, 9/11, The Hope Diamond, and the moon landings in the 60's.

I'm just wondering why I've never heard the whole Hoffa/I-696 conspiracy theory.

Yikes, I was up and down 696 all weekend.

I haven't heard any about the Hope Diamond, and yes, the Moon Landings were staged ;)

Naah, you guys aren't rude at all!! Are you kidding me? It's dark..so they shut it off. I extremely doubt that even though the rest of the park is lit up (if you look at the other webcams, you can clearly see Dragster has it's lights on and Power Tower has its color changing lights) the maXair section is dark. Even with Wicked Twister, The Big Wheel, Troika, and the maXair lights..AND they've got to test everything out to make sure it works.. So if they are planning to unveil this extravagant new lighting show biznatch...you'd think they would keep it a mystery. And hey, anyway. how do YOU KNOW for sure that they cut the picture. Did you do it personally? Remember..ehh just a few weeks ago, the webcams stayed on, even at like...ehh...nothing o'clock in the morning? so what. actually, there is zero reason to have had that camera on because there was nothing to see for the last several weeks, if not months.

Awful of me to think it would be the same for the next several.

The lights have been tested, it is very similar to WT's lighting. The ride is lit up totally and that's it. I saw it during the rain storm a week ago, but look at the TTD tower cam, you can't miss it.

Because it stops broadcasting a live picture between 8pm and 7am. Its not hard to figure out. When any time you look at it after 8, you see the 7:59 picture it's pretty obvious.

Well..... Yeah if you would refer to my original post, The whole reason for the post was that the webcam cut out. Now i was just asking why? Someone said that there was nothing to see, which isn't ture because why would Cedar Point turn off the lights in that one section of the park? And the "how do YOU KNOW for sure they cut the picture" comment was to ask that he knows for sure, exactly, as if he did it himself, that that's the reason they cut it off. Yes, i realize it gets cut off and i was asking why.

Ok,
When the webcam was set up, there were no lights in the area and it was dark well before 8. There was nothing to see. They just haven't gotten around to reprogramming it because I'm sure they have much more important stuff to do before this Saturday.

The CIA DID kill Kennedy and Hoffa is under I-275, not I-696. ;)
