MaxAirs swing amount

The short cycle on Skyhawk actually kept me from riding last time I was there. It's a fun ride but if you have to wait more than ten or fifteen minutes, it's not worth it. I agree that a longer cycle would make it much more popular. You get one forward swing at the top of the arc and one backward, then its back down. Way too short to wait very long for.

There was at least one day when Skyhawk was up to 4 full powered swings during the cycle, then I went a week later and it was back down to 2 full swings. I've also seen it run a 3 full swing program. Not sure if they adjust it based on crowd levels or what, but it definately varies.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I sure hope they don't make the ride longer. I hate it when they do that. What about those of use who like our rides short? I can't stand when you just keep swinging, on and on and on... As if that's why we go to CP, for the length or number of rides. Myself, I'm all about the lines. If it doesn't have a 45 minute wait, minimum, I won't touch it.

Just thought everybody could use a dose of sarcasm to start out their week. ;)

Plus the loading times on SkyHawk have gotton better. Before they used to take like 5 minutes and now they only take a couple of minutes. *** Edited 6/19/2006 2:27:33 PM UTC by Jerreus***

I was talking to the op working load at Skyhawk last Wed. and I was talking to her about the left arm (looking at it from the front) being down. She said that sometimes when they run one arm the other arm gets more swings than normal or higher than normal swings. Unfortunately, it wasn't kicking on Wed. :(

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
