At the park yesterday it looked like maXair was swinging faster, but I figured it was just my imagination. Then I rode it and swore I felt more G's than ever before, and it reminded me of my ride on Fandango at Knoebels a few weeks ago, which has a shorter arm and is more intense. I don't remember being able to see the world upside-down for so long, so it also seemed like we were swinging higher; which of course would require greater speed to achieve.
Normally, maXair is so gentle I could practically sleep on it, and that's why I love it; I find it relaxing and floaty. But yesterday it was a little unsettling. It was enough to make me compulsively scream during the downswing, which I normally only do on really intense rides like Skyscraper.
So is this all in my head, or is it swinging faster since a few months ago?
When I rode it at Boobuzz the ride seemed its usual self to me.

Unless gravity changed, I'm pretty sure the ride is pretty much the same.

Maybe Maxair just has been working out and lifting weights so he can get strong arm muscles so he can swing them higher and higher......:)
