My first coaster of the year was Goofy's Barnstormer at the Magic Kingdom. First ride of any kind was Spaceship Earth at Epcot. I'm also getting in a trip to Paramount Carowinds this weekend to limber up, but with my sub-52" daughter, so all the bigg'ns (Top Gun, Vortex, and Borg) are out.
For CP, our first ride will probably be the carousel, as it always is. Once Russell reaches 48", we will probably change our first ride of the season to Cedar Downs. Or not. Tradition!

I can attest to have had to wait 7 hours for TTD in 2003 when it broke down.
It became more of a "waiting just to say that I did it" rather than wanting to ride the ride. I was becomming amused at how long it was taking, and was with my ex-gf at the time, so I had no problem whatsoever ruining her day. I was laughing about the wait, and it was going to be my 8th ride on Dragster. I knew exactly what the ride was all about, but I wanted to wait it out just to say that I waited X hours for a ride. Sure enough, it took 7 hours.
It's nice to have a season pass and go whenever you want, so that when things like this happen, it's just something to look back and chuckle about, rather than say I wasted my one and only trip to CP waiting.

I say Dragster in the morning is the best because it's usually running then, but by noonish it usually encounters problems. Nothing like 120mph to start the day.
Yes I'm with you on that Vince982, There's nothing like waking up to 120mph in the mornening!!!
