Maverick theme music

Does Maverick still play the theme music in the line and queu house? I noticed my past couple visits it wasn't being played...

No. FUN Tv is played.

Oh that's right. So no more 80's music in Raptor and Magnum lines? :(

Sometimes Fun TV plays retro songs.

Probably sounds strange in line for Maverick eh?

I think it would be a good idea that as Cedar Faire continues to develop FunTV they should play music relevant to the ride such as western for Maverick and 80's music for Raptor and so on. It might be a little more difficult but it would add to the overall experience of being in line.

I don't know why, but I'll really miss the Maverick and Magnum queue music. I know it's been said 100 times before, but I miss the DJ in MF's queue as well.

I also miss the themed music on Maverick... The "theme song" really was a nice touch since it was used in the marketing for the ride, and then to be in line and hear the song was a nice "effect"... also all the other songs tied in well (raw hide).. On a positive note, I was happy to hear the MF theme music in the station when I was in the park on Memorial Day. I still remember Jeff's 'remix' of the theme song when the ride debuted in 2000.
