I have a few things to ask everyone. Did anyone else notice that there were not any operation photos put on the Maverick site? Same thing with off ride video footage. I remember that when ttd first opened, a lot of pictures and videos of it in operation were on Cp's website. My question is what are they waiting for? And secondly, do you guys think that Maverick will always have its own website, or get a page on Cedar Point's website?
Yeah that is kinda weird. Do you think they will do a website makeover like last year?
Let's Get Weird.
TTD had its own webpage until Maverick came along (maybe not all the way until Maverick was announced, but fairly close to it). I'm sure Maverick will maintain its own webpage until the next big thing comes.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Rather than me starting a new topic, I figured I would just dig this topic back up. It's only 3 years later, so no big deal. Anyway though, did anyone notice on Maverick that it seems like they moved the camera in a new location? It used to be in the tunnel, but now it's underneath the first hill? Did anybody else catch onto this while riding opening day weekend?
I never paid that much attention to the pictures, but I'm pretty sure there are two cameras; one in the place you described and the other in the launch section of the tunnel.
There were 2 cameras but now there's just one. The one they use now hasn't changed it's location since day one.

They were not working on opening day. The lights in the tunnel are no longer on either.

I wouldn't hold my breath on the water bombs. If they're as much as a pain in the behind as I've heard, I doubt CP is going to spend the time and manpower it takes to fix them over the course of the season if they couldn't take care of the tunnel lights.

Yup!
Well technically stupid Sandusky Bay water. ;)

I think there's still hope for the water bombs and the tunnel lights. On opening day last year none of that stuff was working, but I went again later in the season and it was all there. The fountain in the pond by the queue has a parallel story. Among the rest of the park coming out of hibernation, those features probably aren't that high on the priority list.
