Maverick Photography

It seems to me that the turn over the lake is going to be a fantastic photo spot. Maverick in general seems to be very picturesque. What do you think is the best picture at CP?

It is hard to top the image of Corkscrew flipping over the heads of folks on the midway below. I think that is a signature CP picture. Thank you Lee Jewett!

Other shots I like:

The overhead views of Magnum with Lake Erie as a backdrop.

Any shot of Mean Streak.

The loop of Raptor with fireworks going off in the background.

The gazebo at Sandcastle (where I proposed to my wife) with the Maggie pretzel turn in the background.

The midway carousel.

The gardens of the main midway from overhead in the Sky Ride.

The splash hitting folks on the bridge of Snake River Falls.

The building housing Disaster Transport. (Just kidding...that COULD be a picturesque spot if they tore down the building.)

Any shot of Frontier Trail (particularly pre-MF).

Just about any winter shot (with snow).

Millennium Force from across the bay is one of my favorite shots.

I like MF drop from the bridge by Mavericks turn.

The sky line from the causeway. Best pic of CP hands down.

From across the bay at night with all the lights in my opinion.

The last turn on MF from the ramp w/ the first loop from mantis in the back drop is one of my favorites. especially at night with the fire works!

Sorry about that. I was using it. I thought it was one that you had gotten from cedarpoint.com. I didn't know that you made it yourself. I'll find a new one.

A picture of my kids in front on the canoe, with Snoppy and Woodstock, by the water fall in Camp Snoopy. I take a new one each year as the kids grow.

I also like that shot as well, so much in fact I am getting it tattooed onto the side of my rib cage in the near future

Haha! lol. I wish I could do that :D. I love shots of Mean Streak at night. Also anything with Millennium Force! :)

One of my favorite pics was from Jeff....I think. It's a shot of MF at night with some of the fog from Fright Zone creeping into the shot, looking up to the lift hill from just outside one of the tunnel "canyons".

I agree about the pics of MS. If that ride wasn't so darn good lookin....

^^^I hate to ask, but are you serious? I would be able to see any sarcasm that might be in that, if I hadn't wished that I could get a tatoo with the Millennium Force logo myself...

Nope, dead serious.

There are two things I dont joke about in life, Cedar Point and tattoos.

Oh and motorcycles and boats and drinking.... nevermind.
