I was just looking and I saw Speed monster was the first intamin with 3 cars and If I am right I think it is because of the Norweigen loop.

Why? The headrests have nothing to do with the over-braking that absolutely kills the ride.
And they do not take away from the aesthetically pleasing view that it creates in LHP.

Nah, Mean Streak was killed by design. The over-braking just tries to stop it from putting itself out of its misery.
