I'd say it's worth a trip, but if you're relying on your parents to take you, it's really up to them. Read some of the ride reviews to see what others think of it.
Any trip to Cedar Point is worth it in my opinion!
Its the parks 17th and 21 million dollar coaster and HELL YES its worth it. Think if it as everyone's vaction and everyone deserves a vactions every year.
I agree Maverick is worth the a trip cause I just did it from Boston. It really is up to your folks though, because Maverick could be down when you get there (unlikely). Personally, imo CP is worth the trip regardless of Maverick - the ride just makes it more compelling.
Cedar Point is worth a trip ever summer - regardless of having a new ride or not. I've made the trip religiously even if I was in the Caribbean, Florida, New York, Oregon, California or Massachusetts.
No, the ride is terrible. You're better off staying home and playing on MySpace.

i would have to say no the maverick is not worth the wait in line. millenium force is still the best coaster in the park
here we go again... I'd expect someone who calls it "the maverick" to not like it..

Isn't this pretty much the same topic?

Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
Why do you ppl start these threads? somw ppl love the ride, while others hate it. and some are neutral about it. everyone's different when it comes to rides. But I love the ride as soon as I got on it the first weekend it opened. I would not wait over 3 hours to ride, but with the lines it has now, it's worth the wait for what it is.
It's all a matter of opinion anyway. Some people like it, some people don't. The only way to know for yourself is to come ride it yourself. Don't base it on someone else's opinion.

"ppl" is not a word.
I think we're done here.
