I'm guessing most people's head will not be over the restraints. Did anybody else see the sign telling people to remove all earrings before the ride? I don't recal seeing those signs on any other ride, but I could be wrong.
^I never saw them on other rides, which is why that struck me as odd when I first saw them. I remember my mother coming off of Corkscrew with her neck bleeding after wearing studs.
I'm very surprised to see the height requirement changed. My guess is that the ride turned out alot more intense than they expected, and wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be scaring aways the families...

I too have been telling my nephew all winter that he'll be able to ride it. Luckily he has just hit 48" so there is plenty of new rides for him to try out.

How long ago did they change it? If they just changed it when maXaiRaptor posted it, then I don't think the signs near the ride would reflect the alternation.
Like this sign here:

This is somewhat safety related, and I thought it was interesting...

My friend pointed out that sign. That is an interesting statement about the launch and earings though.
Question: What would happen to the second train, if say the first train rolled back into the launch tunnel?
R.I.P. Mr. Scott
I think it would sit at the bottom of the lift hill until the 1st train cleared the hill over the pond. I don't think anyone has yet to witness a roll back or how the trains are sequenced. In my opinion Trains One and Two train will move out of the station at the same time and the 2nd train does not climb the lift hill until the 1st clears the pond hill. As soon as the 2nd train clears the lift hill trains 3 and 4 move out to the transfer track area and 5 and 6 move into the station. 3 climbs the hill as soon as 2 clears the pond and so on... I have no experience as a Ride Op so I don't know if that is too ambitious but we'll see.

They probably changed the height restriction as a result of the trains being able to accomadate larger guests. It's not too difficult to shift what group of people will be able to ride. If larger guests can ride, smaller guests cannot and vica versa. It is much more difficult to make a restraint that allows a larger band of people be able to ride.
I'm not certain, but I believe they have the ability to hold a train in the section before the tunnel launch. In the event of a tunnel roll back, they should be able to stop the second train in a pre-launch position to allow the first train to come back to the launch.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
It doesn't appear so Ralph Wiggum.
From what it looks to me, The blocking look to be a short section of the base of the hill where the LSM start to the top of the hill. For the lift block. The first run block looks to be from the top of the hill to the hill after the launch. The second run block appears to be from the top of the hill after the launch to the end of the ride. When the train drops off of the lift the train before it will be in the roll or shortly after. The trains will then almost race back to the station together.
The train that is waiting for the lift to clear will hang out before the LSM at the base. When the lift clears it will move forward. It may pause at the base of the hill or proceed directly to the hill. The trains speed can easily vary to keep in sequence with the train in front of it. When the train clears the hill after the launch, the train on the lift will proceed over the hill.

I don't know much about how the station will operate though. I assume that it will be quite simular to 6 train operation on Dragster. It should not have the have timing delays that force Dragster to run 5 trains
I dont want to start a new thread but they are testing Maverick right now and the parks open. That would suck to be a guest and to whatch it go but knowing you cant ride it.

This girl appears to have slid down in her seat too. Either that or I have a distorted sense of height. :)
