It's been a while since windows live local has been updated, but it appears they finally did and Maverick can now be seen for your viewing pleasure.

Notice that Maverick still has the heartline roll in that picture.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I think I found an interesting bug in their software. I scrolled away from Maverick over toward Gemini. When I went back toward Maverick, it turned back into White Water Landing....

I took an old WWL image, skewed it to match the new Mav sat image from TTD 120mph above closer and overlayed it at 50% opacity in Photoshop to compare where the elements of WWL used to be compared to Mav's. Not an exact match but close enough to get the idea:

That's pretty cool.

I never noticed how much bigger the swan pond got after they reprofiled Thunder Canyon's queue for 2006.

I never realized just how large Maverick's footprint really is. Nice images.
Thrills Around the Corner!
Hey... are you guys forgetting another new member that went live with Maverick?
Skyhawk of course. It seems to be a little neglected these days. I think it was great the way Cedar Point took a small dead area of the park, an area we would never expect a ride to fit in, and placed such a large attraction. It just shows you how Cedar Point is NOT running out of space. And those who think that they are running out can look at how they added Wicked Twister, TTD, maXair, Skyhawk, Camp Snoopy, and even MF without getting rid of much...except for trees :( . ;) *** Edited 11/27/2007 3:41:21 PM UTC by CPGuru***
Yep, the park is missing a lot of trees.

There was a reason it took the crew 30 minutes to do a track walk and change low zone locks.

Nothing like having your shoes ruined 5 days before you leave for the season and have to buy the shoes from wardrobe thanks to a nasty storm that moves in at the blink of an eye. The one day I forget my rain gear...
Dang, 30 minutes? I believe the record at Blue Streak was about 8 minutes this season. ;) Oh, low zones...
It is nice to see Live get an update over the peninsula, and hopefully that means all of Sandusky as well.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
^Ah yes rainy days, how many did we have, like 2? Great summer will never forget it!
