Ive ridden it about everywhere. I like the front because of the visuals and you just feel so close to the track, but yesterday I rode in the very back and there is so much airtime. Over the lift hill i flew up about 4 inches and over the airtime hill I was out of my seat again. Therefore I would say back.
Here Come the Irish!
It was my first and only ride on Maverick. I also had front on Raptor for my first time. My first time on TTD was in the back, the reason I bring this up is because I went on it with a Cedar Point VIP coaster enthusiast whose excitement helped amp up the fun. If you are on this forum say hello. Cedar Point VIP guy who was on the TTD my first ride, hi.
Your mom is to fat to ride TTD. said:
Not after last year. Maybe a few but not coasters.
I think they changed the rain policy this year and have the coasters (except TTD) go into one train operation. From my opening weekend trip i took this is what i noticed but i could be wrong.
BTW i belive but this just my opinion the backseat is the best.

The front seat is awesome because you get a really good view of everything in your way. The back seat is awesome because you get BIG airtime on the turns and hills, especially the first hill. I usually try to get on it twice in one day. One time ride it in the front seat and then later ride it in the back seat.

Well...the back of any coaster supposedly feels faster than the front. Now some coasters you can kind of tell this difference. The front feels "slower" on certain coasters.
Like many people have said its nothing like front seat on the Magnum or any coaster. It is like riding in the front seat to Cedar Point vs. the back seat. Kind of lame, even if you can watch T.V on the way to the point. You are still not in the prime spot.
The front "can" feel slower. The front seats get splattered with bugs during the night time, and the back can feel faster because you have all the coaster in front of you pulling you down the hill.
Maybe it's all a mind trick....
I have had a bad wheel experience or two on the Maverick where I believe some sort of wheel defect has made the ride a little more rough. In fact I prefer the front rows 1-3 anyday on the Maverick. It feels really faster. But the Magnum might be a different story.
Here is a quick question, what is the smoothest seat?
I broke my collar bone in June, and I my doctor gave me the OK to ride, but I still want to take it careful.
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

I personally think that the front seat is the smoothest out of them all. The ride still jerks your head around a little but it's not as bad in the front.

I think that either of them is a good choice to sit. Because the trains are so small. However, the front is awesome with the views that you get of the other train zooming in and out! Make sure you are the second train in the station to leave and you are in the front row. When the first train goes through the first over banked turn its really really trippy to see it zoom past you!
