If anyone out there doesn't want to mess with e-bay to sell off a oversized fleece, I know an employee who is looking to buy one. I'd have to check but I'm sure he would also be willing to buy one of the shirts they sell in the park in your size to trade with you if you'd prefer. Let me know.

They were still giving out t-shirts today. I thought it was only supposed to be until yesterday...
I missed out on a fleece. I got to the line about 9:30 yesterday and the line was already outside the full queue.
Krafty, I PM'd you, but in case there are others interested, I would be willing to trade off my XL fleece for something smaller - what, I don't know, but if anyone has a smaller fleece that they don't want, or some other clothing item purchased in the park.
Speaking of tee shirts, Kings Island also handed out free Firehawk tees to the first 2500 riders, Saturday through today.
In related news, the first 3,000 people to visit Geauga Lake have to give the park the shirts off their backs.

How long would it take Geauga Lake to give away 2500 T-Shirts to the first 2,500 guests entering the park?
Ensign Smith, do you know if they even made it through the 2,500 shirts each day? From what I know the ride didn't even open til 1:30 Saturday and it only ran one train. It also opened around 1:30 Sunday. I'm not sure if it was one or 2 train. I do not know what happened on Monday at all.
I belive the park was open til 10pm saturday and sunday. So assuming they also ran the ride til about 11 to empty the queue, they would have had 9.5 hours to hand out the shirts. that would be 263 riders per hour or 11 trains per hour or 1 full cycle every 5minutes and 28 seconds +/-. Assuming no break downs. It certainly sounds feasible.
Can anyone confirm that they gave away all the shirts?

^^ I have no idea personally. I noticed the giveaway on a kings island fan site, and I assumed they would have finished unloading them by now. (Yes, I know what happens when you assume something. ;) )
I wonder if Cedar Fair had a similar promotion for Renegade when it opened?

Someone asked that before, and IIRC, the awnser was no. But I'm a full days drive away, so I couldn't say for sure. I'm guessing this was a promotional gimmic they came up with to help promote the opening since it was 2 weeks later than it should have been. I don't think we would have seen the shirts if the coaster opened on the 12th.

When I got to guest services at 2:30 today all they had left was XXL. I am 5'10" and 170 lbs. nice fit. :(Fortunately it seems to be just longer than HUGE all around. It will fit nicely over a sweatshirt or hoodie come Holloweekends.

I also was stuck with the 2XL Fleece... but... being that I normally wear an XL t-shirt, it wasn't too bad at all...
At least you guys are adults! I'm a 5' 9", 18yr old teenager stuck with an XXL!! I have to ask my mom to shorten the sleeves for god sakes!!:)

I was disappointed to end up with an XL fleece and a t-shirt - being a 5'5" and 115 woman!!Many of us smaller people were commenting on that stating many who actually fit WELL in a XXL can't even fit on the ride itself!
Your quote is really disturbing, I am 6'5", 212 lbs. I can ride any and all rides in the park, but like XXL clothing because it fits well because it is longer in length to fit my tall upper body. Some comments should be thought through before they are made.

If people were required to think before posting, it would be really quite around here. ;)

Dang it, I meant 'quiet'. I guess that's what I get for posting before thinking. :)

I apologize for offending anyone, that was certainly not my intention. I obviously wasn't clear enough in my original post since it was entirely misconstrued (rightfully so, since I was not clear) - oh well, try again next time. That's the problem with computer communication.
