Man, they sure have been spoiling us with blog updates recently. I love it!!

The t-shirts and fleeces look awesome. I'm jealous of everyone that's going to get one.

The ride is so good, they were afraid Sandor might try to steal it back. So they brought the cop in to make sure he didn't try to stick it in his pocket.

I wish I had the money and vacation time to do that kind of traveling Tim. Mmmm, dippin Dots. Anyone know what Horchata tastes like? It's a flavor of Dippin Dot.

Yeah were definitely going to need some first impressions of Maverick from you guys lol..well me anyway..the line is probably going to me humungous tommorow!

the guys in the black uniforms are sandusky fire department personnel. there is a sprinkler system throught the loading platform and in the tunnel since it is all made of wood. They probably were there signing off on the alarm and sprinkler system to allow them to open the ride.

The tunnel isn't made of wood - it's steel. Most of the station is concrete and steel too - at least the structure. They needed a sprinkler system for other reasons.

Can't wait to hear the reviews tomorrow. Sounds like the air-time should be good.

I will have impressions tomorrow as well... I also got interviewed by my local paper, The Lima News, about the whole charity bid thing and the ride. Cant wait to read it :O

Does anyone know why they don't play the MAVERICK theme song in the station- I was looking forward to hearing it but it isn't played...
