I have a feeling that the CEO of a billion dollar company is kinda busy to be taking a lot of customer e-mail.

Steve Jobs was well known for assisting on such things when time allowed. Theres quite a few stories of him calling up customers or taking over customer service calls to fix problems. Obviously I dont know how many he did and how often. You never know!!
Every company should have something along the lines of an office of the President/CEO. I would expect that sending an e-mail to the marketing department (as stated above) would be read by someone, and if it was thought to be relevant, would find its way onto his desk.

I knew someone would bring up Steve Jobs. Because Steve Jobs was totally just like every other CEO.

What Jobs did was a far cry from direct emails from the world to a CEO.
And Ouimet has indicated that he will not hover like Kinzel did. I wouldn't expect him to answer emails from customers. Its why you have park managers and customer relations folks.
Why does Ouimett need an email for people to contact him with questions or concerns? Thought thats what Pointbuzz was for. ;)

I think a simple answer of "No" would suffice next time. Just saying. I mean, this is supposed to be a good place for discussion and questions right? We all have questions whether a majority of us think some are silly or not.
SSL488, I believe I saw an email to contact Becca somewhere on here a while ago. She has answered a lot of questions and concerns asked by employees this past season. I'll keep an eye out for that contact information.

Nothing wrong with Jeff's response to me.

Regarding Wicked Twister said, does Cedar Point management look at these threads and discussions and actually read our comments about the park and future projects? If I were them I'd love to read these because they know what the next coaster is and seeing all of our guesses would be pretty interesting.

They do. Tony Clark used too post on here all the time. Don from Kings Island also participates in kicentral's threads too.

My post was kinda joking but I guess you guys are right. Just a warning though. Forums are great. But they can also become toxic enviornments if people with agendas show up. Thats why I never read or care about anything said on Disney forums. I was basically harrassed and made fun of for saying my opinion. I got ripped for liking Light Motors Action, Fantasmic(DHS), some other things. I especially was ripped and harrassed for saying I liked the idea of DVC. Me and the future Mrs were(and still are) thinking of buying into their vacation club cause we think itd be good for us. Boy, the stuff I heard. It was unreal.
Anyway, point is, when you have a forum its good until it becomes toxic. For the most part, Pointbuzz has been a fair and balanced forum. Thats why I love posting here.

I'm not here to bash anybody, I'm here to participate in discussions and help with questions if I know the answer to them. Enough said from me.
In regards to your 2nd post, Me and my girlfriend were thinking of looking into the DVC as well. It would be a nice get away for us as well. If you don't mind, what were some of the things you heard? Is there a link online to any of the special offers you receive? I wouldn't mind checking it out.

Ill PM the other stuff to you cause this isnt the place for it. But as far as things I heard, I was told that I was ruining the magic by supporting DVC. Thats the kinda things that can happen in a forum when too many people with agendas show up.
Bringing it back to the matter at hand, I think Ouimet will focus on things found in guest surveys instead doing the whole email/forum thing. He may read us, and thats cool. But I think CF will care about in park guest feedback more.

First off, don't quote every post. It's annoying. Trim it.
Second, this is the Internet. If you say something that is not well thought out, or worse, outright stupid, you should be prepared to be challenged for it. That's not toxic, that's real life.

Hey guys I'm sure it follows standard CP email practices and is most likely MOuimett@cedarpoint.com but I wouldn't waste your time as you will most likely get a canned response from someone else.
