Remember the days of going up in a ride like this? You would see the breathtaking views from this ride looking at the skyline of a city and looking DOWN at all of the rollercoasters and other rides within the park that this ride was in? You never imagined a coaster hill getting to these heights. Now, fast forward to the year 2000(Oh my god, this is the present!!!) Now when you get on this ride and look around the park you will experience another creation just as tall. MF will look eye to eye with it. To all of us who have been going to amusement parks for the last 3 decades this is with out a shadow of a doubt a monumental experience. Is this going to be an experience or what?
It sure will. It'll be fun too!
As far as which one is actually the very tallest -- which is it? Space Spiral or MF??
The Space Spiral is 330 feet tall according to the "Rides" section on the Official Cedar Point site. So the Spiral is actually taller but the real question is how high does the cabin actually travel?
The top of the Space Spiral is 330 feet so it is the highest. I don't remember where the cabin stops. I think it goes to around 260?
That sounds right. There is a lot of room from the cabin to the top.

I saw some where that it went up 275 ft.
Wow, you are right about Millennium Force (not to mention Power Tower) going as high as the cabin. I guess that it is time to build a new, taller Space Spiral. I think one going to about 400 feet would be pretty cool.
The Space Spiral ride operator's spiel states that the cabin goes up 285 feet. Of course that's probably 285 feet in you are in the top cabin which we all know that C.P. rarely, if ever uses. In any case, it's still pretty darn high. And to think that MF will go even higher, and then nearly straight down! Scary!!!
It is 285ft

Heck, than this experience will be even better. Going into Space Spiral and looking up at MF.
