Marriage and Cedar Point ??

I know that this sounds like a very odd question to ask but seeing as this can go beyond cedar point has anyone met there girlfriend of future wife at cedar point. (If mods allow tell of other amusment parks) I am a single guy (read my milli therad to find out why) and was wondering if two coaster enthusiasts had met at a park or something similar !:)

I know of two that met at Cedar Point and then had they're wedding in Frontier Town at the gazebo

I saw a picture of a bride and groom in Raptor's station.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

See my fiance and myself wanted to get married at the Gazebo. We even called and asked, they said no. I wonder why your friends can but not anyone else. I mean nothing on your friends.

The people that got married there were not my friends. I was working there at the time and we took part in helping with the wedding. This would have been in 2002. I just rememberd about what Vince said, there was a wedding on Raptor I believe either last season or in 2004. I think you can find pictures of it on Webshots.

A lot of fulltime employees met their wives there. I can’t think of any off hand, but it’s a big group of people. *** Edited 4/5/2006 3:26:34 AM UTC by 99er***

A close friend of mine that has worked at the park for 34 years, and still does, met his wife in the former games area where maXair now sits when they were both seasonal employees. Needless to say they were slightly saddened when the game where they met was removed.

From what I've heard, a lot of seasonal employees find someone at the Point, but I don't think it is like that for the guests.

If you want to meet someone, you would have much better luck at Put-In-Bay. Though they may not necessarily be wife material, you WILL have fun.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

So so true about Put-In-Bay Pete. So true:) Good times!

My wife and I did not meet at the park, but I did propose to her on the beach at sunset. We have went to the park at least twice every year since we have been together. We now have a baby and took him there before he was even a month old. To us CP is very important to our relationship.

I was once in love with a girl named Lusty Lil'... but she's long gone from Cedar Point, and now the only memory I have of her is a Red Garter.. :-\
