Something extremely painful. Who wants to go through a loop at that speed?

Skydiving is much more exciting than any roller coaster and it will satisfy everyone's desire to go higher and fall further. I can tell you there's no kick like jumping from an airplane at 14,000 feet. And it doesn't cost more than a day at CP! Give it a shot if MF and TTD just don't do it for you any more.

A friend of a friend of an employee's mother-in-law's hairdresser told me that it would have a pretzel type turn around somewhere in the neighborhood of Breakers Express.
Well that is good enough for me. It must be true! (and the Lemon Chill guy was all wrong from the beginning!)
Beer and golf Thursday thru Monday, Cedar Point & beer, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Can you see One-Eyed-Willie from the top of Magnum?

Well, she probably would have been fine if she was by herself. But she was jumping tandem and trusted the instructor to ensure she was secured.

I've jumped at AerOhio several hundred times, and have witnessed hundreds-- if not thousands -- of successful first jumps. Care to tell me why someone shouldn't go there?
There have been fatalities at SFNE, Knotts, Disney World, and even at beloved Holiday World. Do you tell people to stop visiting those parks because of an accident?
Excuse the pun, but please don't jump to conclusions until all the facts have been released. Dropzones -- like amusement parks -- aren't in the business of wanting to kill people.

That's where I jumped from when I went sky diving back in 2003. I too did a tandem jump, and it was probably the coolest thing I'd ever done. It's kind of scary, but these things can happen when you take a risk like that. It wouldn't stop me from going again unless there was some sort of glaring neglegence on the part of the company, and even then I'd just find a place with a clean record.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I'd actually like to go sky diving. But if my choice of places comes down to the place with one fatality and 50,000 successful first jumps and a place only 10,000 first jumps and no fatalities, I'll stick with the 0.
Not saying its a bad place, but hearing about even one fatality, especially with a first timer who is most definitely putting their life in the hands of more experienced people just doesn't sit right. Accidents do happen, but it only takes one to severely damage a reputation.

You gotta go AFF for your first jump...did mine at AirOhio for the first time and the people there were awesome, I highly recomend you go there.
I think the ride will surely stay in the wwl area. However, I think it would be cool to see Mav zoomin over head like corkscrew does, unlike MF being mostly hidden out of sight
Nearly all of these threads have gone "stale", on account that there has been no new developments at all recently.

I agree tas24. Does anyone have pics. I'm sure something has gone on in that site in the past 5 days.
I am sure something has gone on, but unfortunately it is nothing more than more concrete work. Not much to report.
