Marina Parking

Do they allow you to park in the Marina parking lot if you arent going to a restaurant or the marina?

I don't believe so. If I recall (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong), they have a parking attendant at the entrance to the marina parking lot.

If you're eating at Bay Harbor Inn or Boathouse, they will let you park there. They'll give you a temporary parking pass good for a couple of hours.

My first trip this year I pulled into the Marina, told the attendant I was going to the park and asked if I could park here. She said since I had a parking pass, it was OK. I tried to park at the marina again a couple of weeks ago, and the attendant told me I couldn’t if I was just going into the park. I’m not sure what the official policy is suppose to be.

The shouldn't let you park in there. The only reason I can see why she let you park there was because it was the beginning of the season and parking wasn't a problem. The marina doesn't have enough spaces for all the cars, so they are very strict during the weekends.

Last year I wanted to get some pictures of Raptor as the park was closing and asked the parking attendant if I could just pull in, take some pictures, then leave. He was very odd about it asking who I was with, why I was taking pictures - couldn't understand why someone would be taking pictures of a coaster. On the way out he stopped me and wrote down all kinds of info off of my license. My advise, stay away from the Marina parking unless you're using those facilities.
