Where do you park for the Marina gate...is it hard to find?? I've only been to CP once before...years ago...so any direction would help!

The marina gate is around the park to the left. Go down perimeter road. The marina is on your left, the gate is on the right directly before the IMAX theatre.
Yes, you can purchase tickets there. If you arrive just at the time the gates open, expect 50 or more people ahead of you.

You still have to park in the main front lot and walk back there...Its worth the walk :)

We always just say we're going to the Boathouse and they let us park back at the Marina Gate. And we usually do end up eating there...for dinner...

I used the search feature... I've been lurking for approx. 1 month getting ready for my trip on Friday and just wanted some clarification on the Marina Gate.
Is there parking available at the Marina gate (and how easy is it to get to) or is it better to park in the Main Lot and walk back? I've already got our tickets from AAA, so I just want to be able to get into the park quickly and start the day off right with MF. Thanks for any input. :)

It IS easier to go park it the marina. But it ISN'T easier to park there. The only way you can park there is if you plan on going to the Boat House Restaurant. (There is a Security Guard) Also, If you do go to the BoatHouse, use your parking ticket and get $6 off your meal.

Thanks!! Is the way from the Main Lot to the Marina Gate easy to find. I haven't been to the point in a few years (live just a bit too far away). My guess would be to head left if you are facing the park from the main lot?
Real easy. You can park right next to Blue Streak and have a pretty easy walk on Perimeter Rd. Just stay on the Blue Streak side of the road, and you can't miss it. It is probably about a 10-15 minute walk, though.

If you can find a parking spot near BS now. Remember that parking lot is for people who live in the Cedars dorms and it's pretty packed at this time of year.
Also kinda rude to take up the parking spaces there. It's sad enough that the residents have to walk that far without making them park even farther away..
