does anyone here use the marina entrance when the park opens in the morning? seems like using it would get you back to MF or TTD faster than the front entrance, and would be less crowded than the magnum entrance.
The marina entrance is good if you want to get to MF before the groups at the front gate. For getting to TTD I would park in the Soak City lot and use the resort gate.
If you're going to use the marina gate though, you'll have to walk there from the main lot. Unless you have a parking sticker for the marina you will not be able to park there.

The marina has always been my entrance of choice, one of most visually pleasing areas of the park to begin your day.
The Amazement Park
The last two times we went to the marina entrance, they did not open it untill a few minutes after the main gate was open.
We were bummed because by the time we got to go in, the line for dragster was already long.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
All the gates are suppose to open at the same time after the national anthem is done playing. Sometimes its hard for the gate people to hear it playing, but at Marina gate that should'nt be a problem.

Crazy Horse, did you enter with Joe Cool or at the GP opening time? If you went in with the GP, then that's why the line was already long. All of the resort guests get early entry, add that to the Joe Cool folks and you already have a long line before the gates officially open.
That said, no matter what gate you use to get into the park, there is already going to be a long line for MF and TTD unless you go in early with the resort perk or Joe Cool.

Yea, the park was open to the public. But as we were allowed to enter the park,we ran into the running of the bulls already at dragster.
We bought the joe cool add on this year(for the first time) and we are also staying at breakers a few times this year, so I am sure we will be able to rack up some more laps on ttd.

Sean, the gate near Ocean Motion would be even better than the Marina gate for getting to maXair.

The Marina gate would be a great way to get on maXair first thing.
If your staying at Breakers the Ocean Motion entrance would be a better bet for maXair.

I apoligize,
I got the marina gate and the resort gate mixed up. What I ment was that we had to wait longer by the resort entrance. The resort gate is by the ocean motion.

The resort gate is by Magnum XL-200.
The Main Entrance is up front.
The Marina Entrance is by Turnpike and Cadillac Cars
The Beach Entrance/Wicked Twister Entrance/Ocean Motion Entrance is by Ocean Motion.
Hope that clears things up.
To get to the Marina Entrance do you still have to park in the main lot? Of all the times ive been to CP I cant recall ever using it..or even seeing it. Seems like a better place to start for the running of the bulls though. *** Edited 4/16/2005 11:41:12 PM UTC by Mixtaper***
If you have a Marina parking pass (You don't unless you have a boat docked there) you cannot park in the Marina lot. So, yes. You have to park in the main lot. You can, however, walk over there no problem.
Or, if you are staying as a Resort guest, have the shuttle take you there. I've done that several times.
