Map Mishaps!

Time to take out your Cedar Point Maps from past years. The goal this time is to find mistakes on the maps. It could be a typing mistake, a track design mess-up(such as how the second hill on Magnum doesn't twist down, and doesn't even come close to Lake Erie,) or anything else. This is not a game or competition, so no need to compete for the most. But, please include the map's year you found the mistake on. If it is on multipule maps, you won't need to list every map it is on(such as the Magnum mistake). Good Luck!

Corkscrew's last turn changed from the '97 map to the '98 map because of Power Tower.

Those water slides in Soak City always looked like a big purple wave to me, I think its wrong

I believe the 1997 map calls the Blue Streak the BLUE STEAK!!!

In the HalloWeekends section of the 1999 Fun Guide at the bottom near the picture it says SOME COSATERS CLOSED

Also ever notice on the Halloweekends map. It has everything that is actually on the peninsula. It has all of the employee dorms, and all of the other employee places, and the different department offices. But when you look at a souvenir map of the park, it just shows only what the public is allowed to have access to.

On the 2005 map i noticed that Wicked Twister was drawn wrong. They are on the back spike and looking up at the sky. and the colors and placement of colors on Power Tower are wrong. they are next to each other. ie the to 'green' (which are blue on the map. other PT mistake) are in front so that you see them over the red.

On 2004 (and I believe 2005) Dragster rotates the wrong way on the downward side.

Last time I checked the maps are just a representation of the park. They aren't there for accuracy.

I love how when people are getting some laughs out of things that people come in and try to rewin the fun. Its like some of you need to lighten up a little.

On this years map and last years the trains on the Dragster still have the spoiler and tires on back, even though those are no longer in place.

I seem to remember that from '02 to '03 (when Dragster was introduced) the lagoon changed shape a tad...however, I dont have the '02 map on hand because I wasn't that big of a coaster fan then.

The colors of Iron Dragon havn't changed yet.

Himilaya(sp) is not listed on the park map.

on the 2005 map, it shows grass around the little gift shop stand outside the main gates when there isn't any there in real life.

Blue Streak's supports are pink, Wildcat is Red (and also simply a figure 8 shape), Disaster Transport is grey, Millennium Force shows a cross support bar on the third hill, it looks like Jr. Gemini and Woodstock Express are both wooden, the grassy squares outside the front gate, the land across from Millennium Force looks to be about 5 times the size of Wildcat, and the land leading out to the lighthouse is way too wide. Those are all that I can think of off the top of my head. Too much RCT? Maybe...

I hate it when people come in here and can't spell. Anyway, this sounds more like something to do in the offseason when there's nothing to talk about. But, to each his own.

My favorite is the huge drop they have drawn for mine ride.
