Mantis Paint Job

I tried to find a Search, but couldn't find it so I'll ask. Did Mantis finally get its paint job?

Nope. :( It has been delayed until next season. Blue Streak did get a paint job, however.

Oh my...when I visited last year, it just looked horrible. That spot after the diving loop leading into the helix/drop over the station is almost faded white. I can't wait untill next year; have you seen pictures of it when it first opened? Wow...those colors are nice when they are brand new. Is it safe to say that they are most likely going to paint the rails red?

Back when they had the construction cam on Mantis for Millennium Force, my dad thought that they repainted the spine pink because it was so faded, heh.

How do they paint it, with rollers or spray paint?

I would have thought they would have painted Magnum before they even touched Mantis. IMO Magnum needs it more anyway, just to restore it to its original state. They should have painted it on its 10th anniversary in 99. That would have been pretty cool.

Mantis needs it way worse than Magnum. Mantis' red has faded it a pinkish white. It's supports look lavender when they were once dark purple. Magnum's dark orange has just faded to a litter orange, so it doesn't look as bad.

Lots of rides need it. I even noticed Wicked Twister's wheel tracks are already white, and some paint is fading due to the harsh location it is situated at.

The wheel tracks are white because they don't paint there :) Look at the construction pics. They are white before the ride is even constructed. It's the same way with MF.
