Make a winter trip to CP

I just thought of this while sitting at my computer looking out at "The Bay". I see some snowmobiles out there for the ice fisherman. If the weather gets colder and the lakes freezes even more hat it has alreayd I might have to make a trip over to CP on my snowmobile. Sound Good?? Maybe get some pictures or such. I'm not sure if the lake is frozen enough to go out onto with a snowmobile yet but i'll talk to my people and see whats up. It'll be sweet.

I drove to CP last month just to look at it.I drove around the road that goes back to the hotel.I love CP so much,It just excites me to see it,even if it is cold and the ride's are not running.

So they do let you in during the winter? I was going to ask because I might be out that way in a week or so and I wanted to drive by. You can actually drive down Perimeter Road and go back by the hotels, right?

Do you really think the kiddies can afford Bay Harbor? Steph and I dropped $90 there on our anniversary.

The pepper steak is delicious and goes well with a bottle (or two) of wine.

Ralph..DO NOT EXPECT to get back to the hotels and down Perimeter road..The public has no biz being down that way this time of year so expect rejection..If missy got back there it was totally by luck or someone watching perimeter road was either sleeping or not present at the time. You normally have to have biz scheduled to get back there this time of year....The 1st place your gonna get stopped and asked is the main gate upfront so be prepared...

And yes Jeff..that peppercorn steak does rock!!

$90? At a restaurant here in Columbus for New Year's (which I was expecting to be more expensive, but sheesh) the g/f and I ate for roughly $175, with NO drinks at all. I'm glad we didn't do any drinking during dinner, I couldn't really afford the meal anyways, alcohol would have put it over the edge, and we would have been washing dishes.

Yes, Bay Harbour is expensive. But it's my favorite restaurant when I'm spending the weekend, just me and the hubby. And figure that $90 is for two people and includes a bottle (or two?) of wine. Perfect mother's day...spent at CP, with dinner at Bay Harbour.

Unfortunatly for you I'm not a freak show. I don't really consider myself to live in Ashland. I try to get away from that Amish infested place to spend time in Cleveland, which is still pretty tame and lame compared to other Major cities. Pretty soon I won't even be living where I currently live. However right now, I can identify with Jeff too. Not with having a wife, a house, and a mortgage. There is a sitaution, that I am currently going through that makes growen men cringe.

So, I'll apologize Jeff. I guess I was lecturing you. I guess I'm irratible too. I'll delete that other post and take a rest from GTTP for quite awhile.
