Magnum's gettin kind of rough.....anyone agree?

Well really-it is gettin pretty rough and it gave me a pretty good headache.(shouldn't have ridden the Witch's Wheel) Well anyway, I was just thinking-after all- the earth does shift and it could have sunk or shifted in some places which would make the track uneven and hinder a rougher ride. Is this true or do they just need to make all of the wheels "kiss" the track like MF's.

The last several times I rode it, Magnum was no more or less rough than in the past, except for one little problem...

At CoasterMania there was a minor axle-hunt problem with the rear axle of the first car on the red train. I have no idea what the problem was, but they were working on it during the evening ERT. I guess there was a similar problem with the last axle on one of the cars. That was causing a rhythmic wobble in the car, but I think that problem has now been fixed.

Magnum felt rougher than normal at the beginning of the year. But now is perfect, just the way it has always been. It was running SUPERB on coastermania.

I have had nothing but smooth rides on magnum, with the exception of opening day when it was slightly rougher. During the ERT at Coastermania for Magnum, that was the best ride on Magnum I've ever had. TRIMS SUCK!!!

Your correct about the axle on the red train Dave. As of last Tuesday this problem was still not fixed. I felt the wobble the most when the train was climbing the lift hill, and throughout the rest of the circuit it almost seemed as if it had a bad road wheel, but later on I found out that it was the axle.

Running a little rough but not enough to bother me. Still gives one one the greatest rides ever especially on Coastermania night WOW!!!
I agree with MFisTHEbest because when i rode back seat magnum this past friday i had a headache when I got off, I don't know if it was just because I rode MF earlier ( I think that's it) but I did seem really rough!!
that wobble was the weirdest thing - i couldn't help but question the ride's integrity up that hill - definitely added to the thrill factor :)
Gee, I wonder how much a used Magnum AXLE might bring on eBay, if somebody thinks one wheel is worth $6,000?
Okay guys don't down Magnum. The only reason Magnum seems rough is probably because you are comparing it to Millennium Force. I ride Magnum in the back seat all the time and it gives me no prob bob

Magnum rough? Never. It just feels rough after riding the Force. I got to ride a few times in the Devil Train (red train) when it had its axel problems and it was an interesting ride.

I just felt that it was rougher than it usually is when I ride. That still doesn't change how it's my fav in the park. My first coaster ride and always my favorite.
Magnum may be rough compare to certain other coaster(s) at CP ;), but Magnum is the smoothest Arrow I've ever ridden

It's the same ride it's always been. If it didn't throw you around a bit it wouldn't be Magnum. That's what I like most about it.
I was at CP last Tue-Thur and I thought Magnum was one of the roughest rides in the park.(including Mean Streak) The ride gets rough at the pretzel turn around and stays rough after that. I got a headache all four times I rode it.
Since when did Magnum have a red train? I thought that they were all white. Did they change it this year or what?
Haven't we been through this before? Magnum has three trains, all of them white. But you will hear them referred to as the "red train", "blue train", and "black train." What is this all about? It refers to the stripes on the sides of the nosepiece of each train. One train has red stripes, one has black stripes, and one has navy blue stripes...and you have to look close to tell the difference between the blue and the black. The blue used to be a lighter color.

Note: The photo on the Cedar Point home page (http://www.cedarpoint.com as if you didn't already know :)) shows the red train.

Thanks Dave
I have noticed that it is not as smooth as it used to be, but it doesn't bother me. Now MS on the other hand...I won't even go there.
