Magnum overflow line?

Is it true they removed it? Didn't the overflow still get used on super busy days? (Halloweekend Saturdays, 4th of July, etc. )

When they re-did the midway fencing with that pipe rail stuff and build that little 'office' for the entrance attendant, I think they blocked the turnaround space necessary for using the Magnum long entrance.

It is true, all the hand rails from the old overflow queue have been removed. I do not know when it happened as I remember them being there last season. But yes, they are gone and it is just a concrete slab.

Wonder how I didn't notice that, but I did notice they removed the ugly shed that was next to the vending machines. Of course, there is still an ugly slab of concrete there. Dave is right - the long queue hasn't properly linked to the regular queue in about 10 years.

I noticed the trees and brush in that area leading up to Magnum's line have been thinned to open up the view to Breakers. Is that a new fence or could we just not see it before? I'm thinking that was chain link last year wasn't it?

Now that they have got rid of most of the asphalt midways inside the park, the latest target for elimination seems to be chain link fencing.

And that can only be a good thing. It's kind of why Kennywood, in some ways and certain places, has hit the skids for me. And don't get me started on Darien.
Just hate that chain link.
