"Magnum Force?"

Anybody in Fort Wayne who got the Journal Gazette this morning might know what I'm talking about. There was an article that highlighted "Vertical Velocity" and ended up mentioning CP's "Magnum Force" as the first hyper coaster, introduced in 1989..... I just can't believe what kind of stupid mistakes the media makes in their articles.

But besides that, it was a pretty neat article. It basically talked about how parks are in a sort of "arms race" when it comes to building coasters.

Crady Crady!! CRADY CRADY!!
They refered to S:TE as Superman: The Ride too! I can't believe how they got both of these ride names wrong. Remember the article that claimed that Millennium Force was "rough as a woodie?" This makes me wonder what other things they screw up in articles that we don't know a lot about...

MF Count: 14
First CP Rollercoaster: Corkscrew

That would be none other than Clint Eastwood as Inspector Dirty Harry Callahan. Imagine Dirty Harry at CP stamping out smoking in queues and line jumpers! I can see it now - "Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do you?" He he he...

"If everything seems undercontrol, you're not going fast enough!"
I've always thought that Steve Penhollow (the author of said article) was an arrogant, ignorant buffoon (especially in his movie reviews), but this just proves it. He's a (relatively) small newspaper's resident movie critic... he has no right to be so arrogant...if he truly wants to be taken seriously.
