Cedar Point has moved the Breakers Parking check-in booth booth this year so you will need to turn left into the parking lot at the new signs that point toward soak city parking. If you venture through the tunnel under Magnum and turn right, you will find yourself at the magnum entrance. If you go throught the tunnel and proceed straight, past breakers, and turn right at the beach. You can walk all the way down the beach sidewalk to the beach entrance.
I hope that helps.
I guess I am keeping that secret. I love my walk-on rides!

Am I the only one here who thinks that when it isn't backed up past the merge point, they should hang a sign on the main queue entrance: "<---Please use FreeWay entrance <---"

My only thought as to why they don't let people do this is because there is no sign with the lawyer-ized mumbo-jumbo at the FreeWay entrance.

Are you able to drive past the breakers check in booth without reservations? I would like to go to the beach entrance. A quick few rides on Wicked Twister before the rest of the GP gets there.

No, you cannot drive past the booth without reservations. Your only option (that I know about) is to park in the soak city lot and walk to the beach/resort entrance. It is not a bad walk. As stated earlier, from the soak city lot walk through the tunnel under magum. Proceed fairly straight between the bathrooms and the arcade. In fact, You can follow the signs to TGIFriday's. You Should now be able to see the beach. At the beach make a right and proceed all the way down to the Entrance. You should be on a walkway between the beach and breakers for a hundred yards or so. Just walk toward Wicked Twister, You will see it from the walkway there.
