Magic Mountain is catching up TO cEDAR POINT ?

I think that Magic Mountain might be catching up to cedar point because with "scream" ( their new roller coaster) they are tied with cedar point for #1 for the most roller coasters in one theme park (16). Also if you take into odds that cedar point has the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, aND THEY HAVE THE SECOND TALLEST ROLLLer coster in the world Cedar is still #1 in my mind.
thats really old news there but trully they tryed to but failed in my book. They now have two standing but not in uses coaster (S:TE, Flashback) not to meantion the Deja vu is off and on (not like open opened closed the other i am talking months of down time). So really SFMM isn't checking us till they can have there own coasters always up and running.

No they don't. Some Japanese bums beat out MF by 5 feet, so Cedar Point came back and beat them out by 105 feet, not that it's some huge contest or anything.

Calm down there with the capslock there sport.
And try to work on the spelling.

Cedar Point will always be #1!!! Nothing can compare to it.
I don't know about always...
It might not even be number one to some people. Some people prefer lots of theming and gentle rides. Would Cedar Point be number one to them? Heck no, something like Disney would be number one.

It all depends on what you prefer, and the group that travels/posts on this site is the group that prefers coasters, making Cedar Point their #1.

johnz- SFMM does have the second tallest coaster in the world... S:TE is 415ft high. If we're talking full circuit, you'd be correct; those "bums" in Japan have that in Steel Dragon 2000 after they trumped the mighty Millennium Force by a few feet. Personally, I think SFMM and CP are nearly equal in regards to fun, but CP wins out in atmosphere, and especially operations. SFMM has a lot more looping coasters and some of the most unique rides around. CP has the record breakers and SPEED to spare, with much more of a family atmosphere. Apples to oranges, if you ask me...

ROUNDABOUND.

Cedar Point will ALWAYS be number 1 on my list.

That is all that matters to me.

I agree that CP is number one, but Froshy has a point in saying that it is up to personal preference on whether or not a person will enjoy all CP has to offer.

No one in CP's primary market cares about SFMM. Most haven't even heard of it. It's not a high school rivalry, it's business.
