LuvRaptor now LuvTalon?

My b/f, kids and I arrived safely home from our east coast roller coaster extravaganza. I obviousely wont go into details about all the parks we hit, (you'll have to check CB for that when I get a chance to post my trs)
I must admit knowing what a Raptor freak I am (gasp-shocker to all I know :)) I really did not anticipate ANY coaster impressing me THAT much.
WRONG!
First ride was 2nd train of the day, 1st car. WOW!!!!!
First off there is NO noise so it must be the sand in the rails at work (?) even the ride up the 1st hill is quiet (almost scary) and fast the entire ride is smooth as glass, there is NO head banging. The funniest thing for me was to keep from shifting my body like I was riding Raptor.
I noticed that the floor rises AS the train comes into the station to which as a ride op would be awesome. There are "bins" clearly marked "train 1, train 2" for people's stuff, and even Talon is not without some of the less smart GP who still insisted on throwing stuff onto the platform. I found it amusing that my kids made the comment "trains stacked again!" more than once, I wondered HOW many other kids would even know what that meant. No spiels for Talon either, recording, and our "thumbs up" at CP is "pointer up" at Dorney. There are 2 big people seats availiable on each Talon train which obviousely will eliminate alot of larger guests from whining. The one thing that bothered me though was some of the Talon t-shirts (I personally bought 3 of them, but NOT the following ones) "Largest inverted coaster in the NE" "Ruler of the Sky" "Kick the Sky" I couldnt help but think they could have come up with more ORIGINAL slogans!!
Did Raptors "baby brother" live up to my expectations? More so! I ADORED it and are so jealous that it is so far away because I could certainly be made into Talon Jo. The comparison is so unfair due to the ages of these brothers, I know this but I still cant stop thinking "wow!" 10 laps wasnt even enough!
I do believe that B&M design the best coasters out there, hands down!

PS-the horse show circuit I was in was a big success for me (and the horses mostly since they did do most of the work) I drove over 2k in 5 days due to the show and the parks! EEEK!

Wow...sounds awesome.  Maybe I should try and get down to Dorney some time this year.  I live a few hours away, but not too far.

Talon is extremely quiet - I think too quiet. It takes part of the intensity away. It seems even more quiet then the other "filled" B&M's out there. It is a very well engineered ride, though. These guys know what they're doing.

But I'll take the roar of Raptor anyday.

Hooper ya KNOW we did-we only did front car for the 1st ride all the other 9 rides? Row 8 of course and then fighting amongst ourselves on who was going to get seats 1 and 4. Chaindog--you think Raptor makes noise you have got to hear "Batman the Ride" at SFGA!! It was almost TOO loud-you could hear it all over the park!!!
I kind of like the quiet of Talon, it allowed all the screams of terror to be heard clearly!!
Yup Im still missin my Raptor though!!
