Did anyone ever give the marketing department feedback on song choices for the new Luminosity show? I thought starting a thread here might be interesting to see what everyone has to say for song choices.
Couple that I would choose:
"We Are Young" - Fun
"Firework" - Katy Perry
"Give Me Everything" - Pitbull feat Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer

An it's only May!
I'm sure Gaga will come out with some song by the end of the summer that will make me want to jam scissors deep into my ears.
One of the slides in the presentation about Luminosity included a song list broken down by the various parts of the show (pre and post show along with the different "travel" segments), so they seem to have an idea of which songs they will use in terms of just getting the show produced in time. We thought we heard a couple songs from that list playing after the park closed over the weekend.
"Thank the Phoenicians!"

A couple songs that I'd choose:
"Feel So Close" - Calvin Harris
"Glad You Came" - The Wanted
"Back In Time" - Pitbull
"Where Have You Been" - Rihanna
These are some fun and upbeat songs that I'd enjoy listening to before leaving the park.

NO! If they play that, people like my mother will scar their children for life with bad dancing.
They should do a Weird Al / Dr. Demento show in one of the theaters during HalloWeekends.
Wow. That is such an excellent idea. :)
I would love to hear my daughter walking around singing about Fish-heads...
Promoter of fog.
Roly poly fish heads
fish heads fish heads
eat them up, yum!
And yes, I would pay an upcharge to see an Weird Al/Dr. Demento Halloweekends show!!!!!
The Los Angeles Times reported the following:
"The dance party soundtrack is expected to include songs like "Sorry for Party Rocking" by LMFAO and "Raise Your Glass" by Pink. Other artists on the play list: Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Britney Spears, Pitbull, Adele, Jay Z, Maroon 5 and Jennifer Lopez.
Stealing a page from the "Glee" playbook, Luminosity will remake older songs by Styx, Europe and Bobby Darin with contemporary arrangements."
I feel like Kanye West's 'All of the Lights' would fit perfectly.
As for the playlist, "meh". Styx (a lot to choose from) and Europe (Final Countdown? Rock the Night?) should be legit.
Dance Again - Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull
Back in Time - Pitbull
Give Me Everything Tonight - Neyo ft. Pitbull
Feel So Close - Calvin Harris
Starships - Nicki Minaj
Super Bass - Nicki Minaj
Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO
Thats all I can think of right now...
..and yes, I like Pitbull.
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force
Favorite flat: maXair

That would be all kinds of win!
I've never heard of most of the songs/artists being mentioned here. I feel like that's a good thing.
