We tried to ride Paddlewheel Excursions yesterday and we were told it was closed due to low water level in the lagoon. With as much rain as we have gotten recently why would the level be low unless they had purposefully drained the water out?
I think there is more to the story because taking a quick look from Charlie Brown's Cookout I could see that the boats were level with the dock. If the water was down this would not be the case. However, looking further down there were 8-10 people between Dragster and the lagoon. They appeared to be looking for something. You could also see a rather long, slender, flexible white object - almost like an oil sock. My guess is they were not running the boats because of what the workers were doing.
Sounds like a conspiracy to me!
Have you talked to this guy lately? ©

Nope, no conspiracy. The water level was high on Friday after all the rain making the boat higher then the dock. They left it draining all night which caused it be become to low. They were working all day Saturday to get the water level back to normal. The boat may be been even with the dock when you saw it but management as to okay it before they could open back up.
