New for "Cedar Point-on-Lake Erie" web page will be a listing of most of the rides the park has lost to time. Below is a list of rides that I am having trouble finding information about. I am going to ask for your help if you know anything about the ride such as; location, what the ride did, years of operation, or anything that you remember about the ride that is useful. Any kind of information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Scooters, Frontiertown Carousel, Frontier Lift, Mill Race, Caterpillar, Scamper, Monorail, Yankee Bullet, Bubble Bounce, Flying Skooter, Loop-o-Plane, Moon Rocket, Rocket Ships, Bayern Kurve, Upside-down Fun House & Old Mill.

Here's some quick info on some of the stuff you mentioned:
Frontiertown Carousel - Located in the present Carousel Pavilion next to the Frontier Inn. Moved to Dorney Park a few years ago.
Frontier Lift - Went from the "Million Dollar Midway" to Frontier Town. Same type of ride as the Sky Ride. The Frontier Town station is still standing, it's the building between the Mine Ride and Snake River Falls, that has rest rooms in the lower level. The midway station was demolished, but stood in the approximate location of the Iron Dragon queue line.
Mill Race - Was one of the original Arrow Development log flume rides. Stood in the present location of the Raptor lift hill and queue line, it was removed to make way for Raptor. It had boats that were themed to look like logs. The ride featured two lift hills, a small one through a saw mill and a larger one that stood in the location of the Raptor lift hill. It was a fun ride that lasted for about 30 years.
Scamper was a wood structure wild mouse ride that stood in the present location of Matterhorn and the Corkscrew turnaround. It was a popular ride that I think gave a fairly intense ride.
Bayern Kurve was a flat ride that stood in the location of the loading area to Wildcat. It featured a bobsled themed train that ran in a circle, with a small hill in the back of the ride. The train tilted into a bank as the ride picked up speed. It was one of the original rides of the "Million Dollar Midway" and opened in 1970.
The Upside-down Fun House was a walkthrough attraction that featured a upside down room, a tilted room, and a rotating barrel, among other things. It's signature feature were three slides that were like a spiral staircase, located in silos, that riders used to exit the attraction at the end.

I'm not sure if this was already mentioned, but wasn't there a double ferris wheel?
The Sky Wheel was mentioned above. It was removed after either the 1978 or 1979 season.

The Sky Wheel aka the Double ferris Wheel was actually removed following the 1980 season.
Knowing that Tim is never wrong, I went over to CP's site and found an error in their history section.
1962: The Skywheel (double Ferris wheel) opened. It closed in 1979.
1981: Ocean Motion opened; the Skywheel, Fun House and Shoot the Rapids closed

A few months ago when Cedar Point updated their History part of their page, I helped them fix a error in their history page and they changed it after a few days. (Missing the Figure Eight Roller Toboggan) Even the book "Cedar Point, The Queen of American Watering Places" is wrong in that they mix up the Racer with Figure Eight.
Thanks alot for all your help!

The Frontier town carrousel whiche is now at Dorney is also rumured to be haunted. The haunted horse is the one with weaponry painted on it.

Yep, it's the military horse. There is a replica of this horse in the Town Hall Museum - at least I think it's still there, I haven't been in there in a while.

Ya know, I thought the Fun House closed after the 1983 season. Wasn't that the same year the Rotor closed also? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought the town hall museum had the actual horse. There is a replica of the armored horse at the Merry Go Round Musuem in Sandusky.
I think you are correct Joe. I was told from someone in management that the actual horse is located at the Town Hall museum.

Yes, the actual "Haunted Horse" from the departed Frontier Town carousel is in the Town Hall Museum.
Hey, CPOLE, it looks like the hard core history fans of CP have signed in here. Add my name to the list of those willing to help you. I concur - you've got a good website going. Keep up the good work. Lots of luck on this new section!
Don't forget the Twister ride (No, it wasn't a roller coaster) and the Zugspitz. Does anyone know if Zugspitz is a real German word, and what does it mean? Also, there were the electric go-carts where Oceana is now.
