Loose Articles Question?

I will be heading to Cedar Point this Wednesday and Thursday, and I just wanted to make sure of a few things that I had heard:

1) The only rides without loose article bins are Iron Dragon, Disaster Transport, MF, and TTD.

2) You can ride with a smallish backpack/purse on Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport.

Please confirm that these things are true. Thanks!

Also, Shoot the Rapids only allows shoes in the station shelves.

I've put other things on those shelves before.

Besides, if we're talking water rides. I don't believe there are bins on Thunder Canyon or Snake River Falls either.

I would just assume that anyone riding the water rides probably already resigned to getting a locker. :-)

there are bins/metal buckets) at the exit to thunder canyon but those are just sitting on the frontier trail and anybody could grab something.

A safer (but still not secure) method, would be to put your items in a locker and simply not buy the key. Out of sight, out of mind. I do this occasionally. I'll normally take the locker farthest from the exit or entrance on the highest row so as to avoid too many people opening up my used/unpaid locker.

I also do that, but put it on the lowest level. I feel most of America is too lazy to bend down that far for a locker. :)
