LOOPLESS S.O.B.

I have seen on other sites and heard rumors that they may be removing the loop from Son of Beast(SOB). Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks John, I didn't see that second page of the thread.

They'd be better off removing the entire coaster. That thing is nothing but pain on wheels.

Well if the rumors of GCII working of the coaster is true, I would venture a guess that it won't be a pain for long.

Some things are just better off without loops and wooden roller coasters are one of them.

This isn't even related to General CP information lol.

This is totally irrelevant, but am I the only one here that doesn't think Son Of Beast when I see the acronym S.O.B.? (especially when used in an all-caps exclamation, such as this title) Just curious.. *** Edited 12/14/2006 1:18:55 AM UTC by ramboozle***

Well since this topic hasn't been closed yet, I thought I'd let anyone here (who doesn't go to coasterbuzz) know that it's official that SOB will be reopened.

They have structural changes to make because the trains were too heavy. Another change that was not mandated is the changing of the trains. They will be using lighter trains and because of that they will have to remove the loop. Aparently a lighter train will not have enough momentum to clear the loop.
