7-of-9 if you read the MF dairy(which they have finally updated) it is only at the 250' point. It already looks huge. I can't wait!!!
Wrong! I think they updated it to late. The highest tower was put in place then thay updated it. So the lift hill is all the way up.
I know your going to think i am stupid, but MF does not look that height....yet, in comparison with the trees I cant tell the heigh very well, i wish i could see it in comparison with Magnum, or Power Tower.

It's easy to tell when a tower is "topped off," just look for the triangular heavy-duty looking track supports at the top.

Just look at the surounding area. Look at the trailer on site and how big a person is to it. Then imagine that person on top of the hill and then you be able to tell how high it is.
All that seems left to do on the lift supports is add the column piece to the support that will support the steepest part of the drop. It looks to be a piece similar to the supports used on the shorter supports that will rest on top of the box support, right above the horizontal brace. Otherwise, despite what the diary says, I think that the major supports of the lift will be finished and only the few poles at the beginning of the lifthill will be left to install.
Like I have said in the past the Webcam does this ride no justice. I was in Sandusky last Sunday when it was around 250ft and it was a monster then. I am going out again this Sunday but I won't have the pics on my site until Tuesday afternoon at the latest.

Petree,
If you notice the update on the construction diary, it was dated 12/7/99, and was not posted until 12/8/99, in that period of time, they finished it off. Did you notice the webcam? You can see the heavy triangular pieces are capped off on all of the towers.

I don't know..It looks twice as big as the trees to me IMHO from the webcam shot!! I'm sure a nice 35mm camera shot WILL be better though..I like the webcam though..
