Looks like Mantis is repainted

In looking at the aerial shots of TTD, it sure looks to me that Mantis was painted this offseason. The colors pop right out. Check out the link http://www.virtualmidway.com/mystery/default_p022103.asp

I don't know when they did it in this bad weather, unless the sun is reflecting just right off of it. Look at the third photo.

I noticed the same thing with Magnum.

Magnum looks a very strong red. Not the pink it has been in past years.

Mantis has been painted/is currently being painted. As for Magnum, it has not been painted. It appears that the contrast of the images has been increased which is why Magnum looks brighter.

How do we know that the same contrast effects aren't just brightening up Mantis's paint job like Magnum's? I hope it's not the picture though because the bug has been looking a little dull recently.

If you look at the top of power tower, it looks just as bright.

I think it just might be the picture.

It also might just be that just about everything else in the picture is dark. And Bryan how do you know what is and isn't being painted?

Everything in that picture has been altered with photoshop to make it stand out more. Those colors would NOT be that bright in the ohio grey overcast winter lighting.

One thing you can see in the second picture is that Rip Cord got a new sign on the blue building behind the Rip Cord reservation booth. Looks nice;)

Bans-uh, Mantis has been painted and looks awesome, Maggie has not. Just when you thought NOTHING could top Gemini's Talon colored station, wait'll you see Wildcat! It looks WAY different and quite a shock!
