Dorney Park and Knott's Berry Farm don't have an arrow looper but that doesn't mean they need it. The ride has an aging technology that is not worth relocating.
What I want to see happen is taking it's trains and using them for Michigan's Adventure's Corkscrew. Maybe add another train so that there is two. And look into the motor, chains, etc...and use as replacement parts.
^^There were 3 Arrow custom looping coasters built before it and all are still in opperation, I wouldn't hold out hope for any aknowledgement. It appears as though Cedar Point's was the first Arrow Custom Looping Coaster. I know it was the first ride with 3 inversions. Was it also the first to have a loop and corkscrew in the same ride? If any ride should get aknowledged as a innovator or pioneer, CP's Corkscrew could be high up on the list. At least as far as Arrow coasters are concerned.

This was one of the first looping coasters ever to be created by Arrow.
Not even close. Just among the operating ones, I can think of CP's Corkscrew, Demons at both Great Americas, and Silverwood's Corkscrew (the one from Knott's).

MiA's Corkscrew isnt near big enough to even need a 2nd train. I just dont see that happening.
R.I.P. MrScott... You're greatly missed!!

^Knott's Corkscrew was the first looper. Revolution at SFMM was the first to have a loop. CP's Corkscrew was the first to feature the loop and corkscrew elements together.
Not true the way I interpret your few statements. The Knott's Corkscrew opened in 1975 with two loops, not three, but two corkscrews throughout the ride. For you to say 'a loop' I believe you are talking about a vertical loop or something of the sort? Anyways, the Cedar Point Corkscrew opened a year later than the one at Knott's with three loops, a vertical loop and two corkscrews. I don't know why everyone believes Revolution was the first coaster to have a loop! I hate how Six Flags advertised as that because it is not exactly true. The "The Flip Flap" was the first coaster to have a true inversion. That would be in 1895, long before Revolution in 1976.

It could be sold too... If CP is trying to sell DD what makes you think they wouldnt try to sell an arrow? Look at Chiller at SFGADV it is junk and may be going to another country..... *** Edited 11/5/2007 9:00:17 PM UTC by arms_down***

^ I belive Coasterfury was being sarcastic. They had an Arrow shuttle loop called Thunderbolt Express that was suposed to be repaired and reopen in 2002. It never was and was eventualy taken out in 2004.

I was kinda being sarcastic. But, a coaster of that size would fit in at Camden. With the new ownership, it's quite possible that a different Arrow coaster would be better taken care of. I could easily see them getting some kind of wild mouse coaster as well. Or, better yet, they could completely restore Big Dipper.
Wasn't Double loops track welded together? instead of bolted together like Vortex at Kings Island. So the only way of moving it would be to cut up the track which, in turn kills the ride.
