Longest down time

Just thought it would be fun to have a topic for this, if Jeff or Walt don't agree, I guess it'll be locked :)

What's the longest downtime you've ever seen MF have?

This is the first time since I've been going to the park back in '03 that I can remember MF ever going down.

It was down a whole weekend in 2001, so essentially almost 11 days? something like that.

It was dlosed Saturday afternoon and never reopened today, to the best of my knowledge. My guess is they are waiting on a part for the lift system...but that is only a guess.

I saw them working under the lifthill yesterday. They were on a footer, but to tell you the truth it looked more like they were doing something to the lighting.

Haha... ya Vince, they were replacing some bulbs in the ground lighting over there. I tried to snap a pic today of him but wasn't successful. I can promise that it isn't down due to lighting...

Speaking of down time though. The g/f and I were walking past TTD today when they pulled a car up to the ready position and she says, "Dragster sure is running well today, huh?" Just as she says that they turn off the tree lights and cut the engine sound.

What kind of weekends are 11 days long? Geez I got to move to Ohio...lol

Well, it was closed Monday - Friday for park closure, then the cable snapped, friday???? then it was closed until the following friday

I am quite possibly wrong on my timeline there.

And ohio stinks. I wish I could do a little lobbying in the ohio legislature, that's for sure.
