Long Term Appeal

Waited 5 minutes for it right before closing time on the 16th.

For reference, my top 3 pre-GK would be Millennium due to sustained intensity, TTD for thrills, followed by Maverick for fun.

I'm not sure where GK will settle in long-term for me. Right now I'd say I still have Millennium a cut above, and TTD for pure thrill factor, with GK slightly edging out Maverick for #3. Even though Maverick is more fun, GK is more intense in parts and just different enough in general to win out.

I personally find Raptor a little boring sometimes and not as intense as the other major rides at CP. I don't think I ever see GK seeming that way, but I know a lot of people disagree with me because Raptor always has long lines.

ETA: Yes, the line definitely shrinks throughout the day, but I think that's as much as anything a function of being the big shiny object right at the front gate. People ride it first and move on.

Must be a different Raptor than I always ride. :) I find Magnum, Raptor, and Maverick to be the most fun/intense rides at CP. GK would probably be right behind those.

I think it's a nice acrobatic ride and not too intense. It probably ranks around #4-5 for me as well, under most of the Intamin coasters.
