I just typed a HUGE trip report, pressed submit, and I got an message saying my login expired. Well I went back, and my whole trip report was gone.

That sucks....for future reference, type your report up in Word or notepad (probably notepad, as the new lines should transfer to here with no problem) and then save it so you have a copy in case something happens. When you are done typing do a ctl-a (select all), ctl-c (copy) and then come here and create your thread and ctl-v (paste) your report in.
If you use Word, you are going to have to format all the new lines back in, if you used notepad, it should be just fine. Hit submit and you'll be good to go.
Nothing can be done to save this TR though.

First rule of posting anything long on any forum: Ctrl-A (select all) and Ctrl-C (copy). Or just check the box so you stay logged in.

Dang... where was this thread 2 weeks ago? heh heh. Figured it out but was a little frustrating for me also Benjamin as I did the same thing. Now, word is my friend!

You know lately I have been having the same problems. I'll start out and have my cookies deleted and then I will go to the PointBuzz home page. I will enter my login info and it doesn't matter if I check the box or not; immediately after entering my info and hitting enter I won't be logged in on the next page. I've tried clearing my cookies or not clearing them, logging in repeatedly and sometimes it just won't log me in at all. Sometimes even when I am logged out and I respond by clicking the link from an email response to a thread update on that page for some reason I'll be logged in even when it repeatedly wouldn't previously log me in for nothing.
It doesn't make sense to me. I have absolutely no problems with my CoasterBuzz logging on in any location. I do surf these pages from 2 locations, at home and at work. At work I have no trouble, the trouble I see is only at home. I am not ever logged in at both my locations at the same time. I have even gone so far as to add the Pointbuzz to my safe zone sites in XP IE at home and specifically "allow cookies from this site" to no avail. At work I am using Mozilla 1.8 under HP-UX 11, at home it is IE with all the updates under XP-SP2.
Any advice (besides not wasting time at work ;) )?
