Liven Up the Lines!

Cedar Point is a spectacular place & the thing I don't like is the wait for the coasters. Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to wait, but I think that they need to liven up the lines.

I know most of the bigger coasters have a spot in the line for a DJ or something of that sort... so why not make use of them? They play music, but most of the time it's not very loud. Maybe they should crank it up a notch?!?!

What do you guys think?

First of you, you don't need to be rude. Everytime except for the opening season of MF I haven't seen a DJ. I have yet to see what the line is like for TTD because every time I went back in June it was shut down :(. I haven't had the resources to make it back so far. I suppose it depends on what day you go.

bholcomb I have been to cp almost 30 times this year and have only seen 2 DJs since the start of the year.
Every time I've gone I've seen the DJ's. The key is that they dont come around until like 6 or 7 at night as scheduled! If they don't have a real life DJ at that time then they are still playing music.

D/\MN GINA!!!!!!!!

Over at Power Tower, in 2001 they cranked the music up so loud that we over at Super Himalaya turn off it's music so we could hear PT's. Super's music suck's. Does it still suck? Oh those poor employee's ears.

Which of Cedar Point's coasters are you? http://quizilla.com/users/D-Gent/quizzes/Which%20Cedar%20Point%20Coaster%20are%20you%20most%20like.

All right here is my practical, yet not probable idea...

Make indoor queue buildings!!! Look at a disney park for example, I know they are a different kind of park, put in most lines, they have you waiting indoors- in the A/C. I don't think Cedar Point would do this because it costs money with no return, but its just an idea...

I think that those of you expecting something huge and cool will be disappointed. There isn't a single logical reason to pour a footer and enclose it in an ugly wall for six months.

I love that idea Sparty! That is a wonderful thought, but like you said I don't see it happening. :) Good thought.... Here's to hoping!

I think they need monitors in the newer(and usually longer) queues. I enjoyed them immensely at a few other parks. There' nothing like zoning out and watching tv to pass the time.

I agree with you Macho Nachos.
I do like the TV monitor thing, but I think what they really need are benches. I mean just some cheap board running on both sides of the que. I always enjoy playing cards w/ my friends...especially destroying JayDubs in euchre!

MF has a DJ from about 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. everyday. Until Labor Day, I believe.

Cedar Point always has the hottest girls... doesn't that help pass the time?
